I was born and raised on bainbridge island and now reside in beautiful kingston, wa. my husband and i have three boys (11 year old twins and a 9 year old). I have 20+ years of experience in childcare. I worked as a nanny for three different sets of twins from birth to toddlerhood before having twins of my own. to say that “twins don’t scare me” is an understatement. i have a bachelor’s degree in human development and am a licensed postpartum doula through bastyr university.
Once I started working as a postpartum doula, i really felt that I found my exact niche. i have always loved babies and the magic that surrounds a brand new human. however, supporting new parents while they find their stride, really makes this job a dream come true. most of my postpartum doula work has been overnight care with twins. helping parents get a full nights sleep when they are so exhausted, feels amazing! i strongly feel that new parents should be just as “babied” as the baby. My goal is to provide unbiased support and help you find your way as a parent of a newborn. when my time is done with your family, my hope is that you feel rested and confident as you move forward on your parenting journey.
